Deus Ex - Invisible War

Deus Ex - Invisible War 6.1

Dynamic and innovative 1st person-action/adventure

The first Deus Ex brought a lot of new elements to first-person shooters. The second installment of the series, Invisible War, continues with the tradition. In reality Deus Ex has a lot of elements from different gaming genres. It is a first person shooter, but you also have to rely on stealth. It has a lot of combat elements like firearms and close-range weapons, but it also has RPG elements like character building and attributes. The beauty of the game is that depending on the character you choose, the choices you make during the game and the situations you find yourself in, the game can follow a different storyline. The story begins 20 years after the last Deus Ex, where JC Denton's actions have brought chaos and depression in the world. There are several factions that have gained positions of power during this time. In this game, there is no good guys and no bad guys, it will all depend on the perception of the player. The game is not as big as the first Deus Ex, but that can be seen as a good or a bad thing. The intriguing and fun elements are there, although there were some small changes. This is still worth some time to play. It is available through Steam via Eidos-Valve agreement for just $9.99. It has a great price and it is still a great game.
